Financial Analyst


OVERALL JOB PURPOSE: The Financial Business Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that the Company's budget, forecast, and forecast data included within internal and external US GAAP basis reporting is prepared accurately, timely and in compliance with all relevant rules and regulations. This individual will also be responsible for forecast information included in weekly and monthly internal reporting to key members of accounting personnel and Company management. The Financial Business Analyst will participate in special projects, such as business acquisitions, divestitures and reorganizations and other projects as assigned. The Financial Business Analyst will also be focused on driving towards best practices in financial reporting compliance and transparency and for providing technical accounting advice on emerging accounting, reporting and business issues as they arise within the Company.




  • Manage the budgeting files process, prepare and distribute reports.
  • Manage the forecast data included within weekly and monthly internal reporting process, prepare and distribute weekly reports.
  • Manage the forecast data included within monthly internal and external reporting process, prepare and distribute monthly reports.
  • Manage the forecast data included within external financial reporting process, prepare the external US GAAP basis financial statements and related disclosures on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and deliverables to external parties (lenders, rating agencies) and to the Board of Directors.
  • Manage the forecast debt compliance process and assist in the preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual debt compliance deliverables.
  • Participate in special projects, including acquisitions, divestitures, and reorganizations and other projects as assigned.
  • Identify specific projects and system enhancements designed to improve processing efficiency or corporate internal and external reporting practices.
  • Proactively research technical accounting and reporting matters and stay abreast of pending changes in relevant technical guidance and analyze the potential impact on the Company and conduct periodic training sessions.
  • Assist with communications with external auditors on external financial statements and accounting issues to ensure auditor agreement with company decisions on accounting disclosures, and issues, with emphasis on accounting treatment, presentation and disclosures related to special projects.
  • Participate in both formal and informal business unit operating reviews to ensure financial statement disclosures are complete and accurate.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing.





  • CPA ("Big 4" experience preferred) with a combination of at least five to seven years public/private experience.
  • Exposure to preparation of SEC forms including 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K and S filings.
  • Extensive knowledge of US GAAP and compliance issues around FASB, SEC, EITF and AICPA.
  • Respectfully and steadfastly adheres to the highest standards of business ethics.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to produce professional level reports.
  • Must be proactive, detail-oriented, a self-starter, able to take responsibility and maintain high quality and accuracy in reporting with specific deadlines.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to clearly and concisely document technical accounting and reporting matters and effectively communicate complex accounting issues to non-financial people at all levels.
  • High degree of proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and SAP (or similar ERP systems).
  • Spreadsheet Server or similar reporting tool experience is a plus.
